Mexico
In November and December 2020 we traveled through the beautiful country of Mexico. In just around two months, we traveled from the Caribbean coast in Quintana Roo over the Yucatan Peninsula to Mazatlan on the Pacific coast. A stop in the megacity Mexico City was not to be missed. Conclusion:
We spent a whole two months in Mexico and even though we got a good impression of the country and its culture, of course we could not travel such a big country completely. In the two months we were in the states of Quintana Roo, Yucatan, Campeche, Mexico City and Sinaloa on the road. Besides traveling, we also used our time in Mexico to improve our Spanish skills.
The friendliness of the people, the good mood, the delicious food, the history of the Maya and Aztecs and generally the diversity of the country has totally amazed us. A very special part of the trip was our three-week stay with our friend Nazarely in Mazatlan, who not only gave us her room to stay, but took us into her world. Thus, we were able to really immerse ourselves in Mexican life. We are already looking forward to our reunion!
